Bioland

Bioland is the most important association for organic farming in Germany and South Tyrol. Around 10,000 production, manufacturing and trading companies operate in accordance with the Bioland guidelines. Together they form a community of values for the benefit of people and the environment.

All Bioland members and market partners are inspected at least once a year by state-approved, independent inspection bodies for compliance with the EU Organic Regulation. As part of the inspection, additional checks are carried out to determine whether the more extensive Bioland standards are being adhered to. If the inspection is successful, the farms receive a certificate. The Bioland inspection system offers security and supports the high credibility of the Bioland brand.
